Mail server to Unix Server Virus threat

I want to connect a SunOS Generic_142900-03 sun4v sparc SUNW,Netra-T2000 server carrying live traffic to my mail server so that i can forward the email on root on the server to my corporate email address. I am not too sure about the virus threat that could arise. I want a unidirectional transfer from server to mail server and i want security from virus threat.

Any inputs or recommendations are appreciated..:wall:

hi thinktank
"my mail server so that i can forward the email on root on the server to my corporate email address"

can you please tell me how you configured your mail configuration to do the above

You can use Ipfilter as NAT and for antivirus protection you could use Norton product. Solaris 10 also has antivirus capapble SMF service which means you can automate scanning (don't know name right now, but you can look at Solaris security services). You can use for Solaris: Avast, Clam AV, F-prot or Norton.
