Welcome!

This is the old uuencode attachment type. Modern mail readers might not support it; the new standard is MIME.

Check if your axpert software has got a "send as mime" option.

If you have the uudecode tool installed then you can decode/extract it on the command line. Open a shell (terminal) tool, run uudecode in it so it prompts for input. Then mark the text from the begin till the end line, and paste it to the shell tool.
The file name after the begin will be created with the decoded contents. You can enforce another name if you run the uudecode as
uudecode -o myfilename

Here is the reply from ChatGPT, FYI....

It seems that the attachment you are receiving in your web mail is not being correctly displayed. It appears that the attachment is in the HTML format, but it is being shown as a string of text with a lot of special characters.

There are a few possible reasons for this issue:

  1. The mail server or email client you are using may not support the HTML format. In this case, you may need to use a different email client or ask the sender to send the attachment in a different format.
  2. There may be a problem with the way the attachment was created or encoded. If the attachment was created by the software called "Axpert," there may be an issue with the way it is generating the HTML file. You could try reaching out to the manufacturer of Axpert for assistance.
  3. There could be an issue with the way the email message is being transmitted. It is possible that the message is being corrupted during transmission, causing the attachment to be displayed incorrectly.
