Login Problems when the system is grub mode

Hi Experts,

I am using ubuntu.When i am trying to login it is showing grub ..How i can overcome to this problem..Pls reply me ASAP..

If you still have the installation disk, you can try booting into the disk and then run

update-grub

From a terminal and see if that helps.

Although I'm pretty sure there's a better way to do this....
