LinuxCBT/UnixCBT video training recommended?

Hi

Is anyone here customer of LinuxCBT and can say something about the quality of their videos? Do you recommend me purchase video training of them? I am primary interested in OpenLDAP training.

One question is, are you looking for knowledge or certification. For certification, you need a mindlessly complete set of what is on the cert test, phrased as they ask it. Without experience, certification might get you hired. If you are planning to use it, you can self-teach using online tutorials and real code, writing you own trial apps to use it.

primary the knowledge and second "Yes I wish a paper". I am working in a OpenLDAP environment and wish to get strong basics and enhance my OpenLDAP skills.

The original question was about LinuxCBT.

A paper = a certificate, not write a term paper?

I would download the demo and check it myself:

Dear David G. Pickett

so you don't like certificates (I respect your opinion)....

but why you are

certified?

Yes, and NJ paid for every one while I was unemployed. If you don't have oil, you burn wood. You can't get more experience on the beach, but you an get certificates. They still test you, often, with either. Sometimes, they save the test output so it does not have to be retaken.

My bone is like my bone with languages, shells, commands -- committees put junk in there a wise man never or rarely uses, and they test to make sure you know every useless fact, but you still do not know what is fast, where the power hides.

It keeps one off the streets and from sending out too many resumes in a slow market.
