Linux Version of IE?

Is there a linux version of IE?

That's a crazy question!!

You may run IE on Linux using Wine (you may violate MS license by doing so). There's no IE on Linux and why would people need IE when you have Firefox!!

You can get ies4linux, but again, why?

Please stop trying to make Linux into windows. If you have a genuine need for testing, perhaps that can be resolved with a virtual machine, but your other questions are lending themselves to some wacky situations that you are getting yourself into.

With Chrome/Chromium and Firefox on Linux, there should be little need for IE.

Linux is not WindowsButFasterAndWithLessBugsXP, Linux is its own operating system with quite different strengths, capabilities, and applications. Attempting to make it into something it's not generally just leads to disappointment.

If you really want to use familiar Windows applications in a familiar Windows environment, Microsoft Windows will do what you want.

I was just curious to know that's all.

There was, years ago, IIRC. Maybe you can get it running in Wine?
