we've linux suse version 7 and i've installed linux on the PC's, so could anyone tell me that which files should i change under /etc to be able to Telnet & Ftp to other machine?

uncomment the lines corresponding to ftp and telnet in the file /etc/inetd.conf
however if that dosnt work then telnet and ftp daemons arent installed on your machine
also, make sure that in /etc/services your FTP and Telnet ports are not commented out
Are you meaning FROM your suse machine to another machine??
Do you need help to get the machine on the internet?
