Linux gateway not reachable

I have two linux servers primary and secondary I am able to ping ip of primary to secondary and vice versa I am also ping default gateway from secondary server but unable to ping default gateway from primary

please provide a little more information from all 3 systems, as we unfortunately do not have a crystal ball:

  • OS + version
  • Networks/IP addresses (e.g. ip a or ifconfig)
  • Routes (e.g. ip r or route)
  • Output of failed ping
  • Active firewalling/packet filtering on gateway?
