I had done a long post here about the PCLinuxOS distribution but when I clicked on "submit" I got a message saying the post was too short : coming back has shown that my message disappeared : would you check how this forum is setup ?

If you try to post a URL in a post and you have less than 5 posts, you will have problems and will not be able to post (antispam measure common in many forums).
You have only two posts, so it is likely that might be the reason; but without seeing the exact text of your post, it is hard to tell.
I don't remember if there was one or not. I think it was only in the track-backs. On second attempt (the one you just read) I did a preview before posting : does that count ?
My goal in this post would be to point to the fact that in the Linux forums the list of the named distributions does not match the existing sub-forums. I would like to come and give news from the PCLinuxOS distribution which has changed a great deal since 2008, when you added an information about it in the list of distributions in your site, last time. Easy to localize, many more packages, very active, more flavors available with all the great desktops represented... and re-mastering made more and more easy.
Would it be possible for you to add a new sub-forum for "Other Linux distributions" ?

Hi,
I would just like you to add a sub-forum with the name "Other Linux distributions". This way, if very few new messages for each other distro are posted, the main Linux forum will not be filled with plenty forums not used or too few, and if in the future one distro begins to bring many messages in "Other Linux distributions", it will still be time for you to create a new specific sub-forum for it.
What do you think ?
Why not post topics for "Other Linux Distributions" in the main Linux forum?
