Jumpstart Solaris Installation Program screen

Hi!

I'm trying to skip the installation welcome screen (actually the first three screens: The Solaris Installation Program screen, Identify This System screen and date and time settings - not timezone settings). Everything else runs automaticly from jumpstart except these three screens, just need to get rid of there three f2 key presses.

Any help is kindly appreciated.

Regards, Luka

What Solaris version and release? What does your sysidcfg look like?

Solaris 10 5/08 s10s_u5wos_10 SPARC

keyboard=US-English
system_locale=C
timezone=Honkong
timeserver=10.0.0.100
terminal=vt100
name_service=NONE
security_policy=NONE
root_password=encrypted
network_interface=e1000g0 {
ip_address=10.0.0.2
hostname=hostname
netmask=255.255.255.0
protocol_ipv6=yes
default_route=10.0.0.1}
nfs4_domain=dynamic

Machine: Netra T2000

It looks to me that the jumpstart is not communicating with the time server. Try changing the timeserver to localhost and see if it goes through unattended.

Thank you, but it doesn't help. Same effect even when completely removing timeserver keyword.

Sorry, not sure I'm clear. Did you remove it completely, or try setting it to this (or both):

timeserver=localhost

You're timezone is mis-spelled. Was that a cut-n-paste?

Whoa! When you said localhost I tried 127.0.0.1 (I know, it's a loopback not a localhost :|)and when that didn't work I deleted it. But with "localhost" it works like a charm. Thank you very much!

Honkong was a typo - couldn't copy/paste.
