Java 17 on Solaris on Sparc T series servers

Hi,
we have some SPARC T7 servers with Solaris 11.4 running some business applications. The business applications were written in Java 8 and Java 11. The developers want to move to Java 17 and 21.

It appears that Java 17 does not support SPARC-based servers.

Did anyone encounter similar issues?
Does this mean SPARC T7, T8, M7, and M8 servers are reaching the end of their useful life?
