Its regarding boot block

I install Redhat linux9 on my local desktop pc on which windoxs XP OS is installed earlier.I made half disk empty and then install Redhat linux9 on my pc and make the system in dual boot. As I install linux latter, the grub boot block(of linux)save on the hard disk. But now I wants to delete the linux OS from my system by deleting the linux partition from my system but the boot block(grub) remains on the system. So, can please guide me how i can delete linux boot block and make windows XP boot block as default boot block as it was earlier.

                     Regards

something like
fdisk /MBR

I don't find fdisk on my copy of XP. Microsoft's instructions are to boot from the XP install disk, type R for the recovery console, and use fixmbr.

Sameer....

Probably you can boot up ur system using the Windows 98 bootable disk and then at the command prompt, pass on the fdisk command.

After that, boot up your system normally into WinXP and then remove the Linux partitions using System Management.

That is the best way to remove linux from your system.
