Just wondering if there is a graphical desktop for AIX. Something like Fedora or Redhat?
If I understand the question correctly,
There has always been a GUI.
It used to expect an Xterminal .
CDE for example (Common Desktop Environment). Should be on your base OS install CDs, if not already on your system. Check with "lslpp -l | grep -i cde" for it maybe. You can find also a lot of info about it on the web, especially on IBM sites.
Beside CDE there is GNOME-desktop and KDE-desktop available here: IBM AIX Toolbox download information. No current versions though but at least you have three choices to begin with.
