As per my knowledge IO is generated on Disk Level.
Can it be generated on Network Level ?

"I/O" (short for "Input/Output") is, like the name suggests, everything the system receives or submits. There is I/O from/to disks, terminals, printers, network interfaces and every other interface you can imagine. What exactly do you want to know?
