I Hope to know Why AIX don't Run under INTEL Processor ??
If Any Project Is expected to make AiX to run Under INTEL Processor ???

I might be wrong but long long time ago when powerpc (which runs aix ?) was designed, they made it to be able to run intel codes ... thus running aix on intel maybe a step backwrd :confused:

AIX is IBM product designed to run on IBM Power processors. The reason for it not to run on Intel platform is that IBM does not control the chip design there. Therefore they do not have the same ability to utilize all of the chips features in the operating system.
It is however true that AIX once ran on Intel, but that was long ago.
