Install SUSE Enterprise Server with Error: "No Boot Device Found..."

Trying to install SUSE Enterprise Server in Desktop (X86 - 16GB RAM-500GB SSD).

After installation, it is giving an error msg. "No Boot Device Found...".

Can anybody suggest what to be done or guide me in installing the same?

Welcome to the forum.

So the install appeared to go okay?

What hardware is it exactly?

At the end of the install, did it tell you it was installing the bootloader?

If all the above is confirmed then my first port of call would be to check whether "secure boot" (UEFI) is enabled in the BIOS (assuming the hardware is modern). If secure boot is enabled try disabling that and try again.

Otherwise, you could download Super Grub2 CD/DVD and boot from that in an attempt to fix the bootloader.

Do post back your progress or lack of.

Another thought is...........if you are installing onto a software RAID ("Fake RAID" BIOS controlled RAID) then you will probably need to install using special steps after checking SUSE has a driver for that.
