ILOM and sc on T5220

I 've 2 different T5220 and both are showing different prompts when i ssh to the console.

  1. Shows sc> ALOM
  2. Shows -> ILOM

as far as i know the T5220 comes with ILOM , so why i 'm seeing 2 different type of console for same tyep of hardware ?

and i found that we can change ILOM to ALOM cli with following command .. is it possible to go back ?

set /SP/users/admin cli_mode=alom

To compare versions, type this:

-> version

so you can compare the firmware revision, and see if there's a difference

Firmware is same on both i think its ALOM ILOM diffrerence

You are asking me or telling me to use

set /SP/users/admin cli_mode=alom

and i got this from ILOM documentation that if we use

sc> userclimode root default

it will revert back to ILOM .. i just wanted to confirm with you people out there
