Hello Friends,
I bought HP-UX 9000 series server. They shipped it with HP-UX 11.31 March 2014 version operating system. But i want to reload it with HP ux 11i v3 september 2012.
I have only hardware support for this box, so i cant get it from HP site.
Can any tell me where can i download it.
Or if anyone has this media, can you upload it on any ftp sites.
Please help me.
What is so special about that sep 2012 release?
For me it may be because of software support such as acc or java, but as a sysadm I look to what is OS stuff and so the difference is HP-UX 11.31 March 2014 is up to date on all patches which is not the case of what you want, then as you say you have no support other than HW, how and where will you get all thoses patches?
i have an issue in creating vm's..
i have same kind of setup in my old company, which is working fine with sept 2012 media.
so i want to try the same here.
So it could be a firmware update issue... like something obsoleted and so removed or a firmware update missing... What model is it?

i am going to install VM's on it. Not going to use the base system
