How to set up a printer on SCO 5

  1. Does all the man pr commands work as expected on SCO 5?

  2. Do I have to do some special printer setup to connect the printer to the server before trying to print?

Start scoadmin either at the command line or through the X session.
Adding a printer is menu driven.
Jetdirect printers (port 9100) are added through the HP printer option.
Local (parallel, serial) are added through the printer option as local
lpr/lpd printers are added through the printer option as remote.
pr prints to standard output, lp prints to a printer.
