how to reset the hardware clock

Hi all

Hi could anyone tell me how i can set the
Hardware Clock to the System Time, and set the System Time from the
Hardware Clock.
i am using RHEL 4.0.

hwclock --systohc or hwclock --hctosys

Do a man on hwclock. This is already run (sort of) from the ntpd startup script. If you are not using ntp, you should set this up in rc.local.
