How to invoke SMIT GUI

Hi All

I am using AIX 5.1, i have Cygwin-X installed on my Windows XP Pro desktop, I had started the X-Windows Session and logged into the remote AIX server via telnet.

When i issue the command smit i only get the command line version of the SMIT, How can i invoke the SMIT GUI version ?

Am i missing something here.

You probably just need to set your display:

# DISPLAY=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0.0
# export DISPLAY

just replace the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with the IP of your desktop.

Check and see if you have enabled X11 tunnelling on in the Cygwin client!

Yes there is X11 tunnelling enabled but it does not work...
