how to install xen on solaris?, urgent help needed, pls

Hi ,

I wanted to know how to install XEN on solaris?
I have looked at virutal box but the latest release is not supporting many OS, and for my development work i need some sort of virtual systems.....
and older versions of virtual box dont run on my build of solaris (b83)!!!
so please help

I have no prior knowledge of installing xen so please be descriptive.
My system configuration is

AMD dual core 2.3Ghz
2G ram

Look up Solaris zones. Built in virtualization for all mo's that swallowed the hype about virtual servers.

but zones only support solaris and linux...

have a look here:
Xen_and_Solaris

If you're already running SXCE > b75, you should already have Xen available. It's called "xVM" in Solaris. Have a look at the OpenSolaris Xen community page. It may be that all you need to do is boot the dom0 kernel.

I started using Xen with b89, so I'm not sure how things looked in b83. All I needed to do was set the xVM kernel to be the default with bootadm.

Good luck,
Eric
