Thanks,
Would you please provide me some more steps.

If your using the ILOM GUI you can mount the ISO. Do you know how to get the remote console from the GUI?

Any way in the console window. On the menu bar go to Devices -> CD-ROM Image. Then you will get a window asking for the location. Just select it and your ready to boot to the cd-rom. Just reboot the server and the run the command

boot cdrom

just like chilinski said.

I hope this helps

From the ok> prompt all you need to do is type in "boot cdrom" (without the quotes) and press enter/return. Sometimes it can take awhile for it to start loading when you boot from the cd/dvd.

First of all, it is Oracle Solaris - no more Sun Solaris.

Then, what kind of system you are trying to install with Solaris? Is it a sparc system or a X86 (intel) system? Based on CPU, you may have either OBP (open boot prom) or a regular BIOS based system.

If sparc, then insert OS CD/DVD, boot system and when it come to OK> prompt, type "boot cdrom" - rest everything is self explanatory!

If it is a BIOS based system, then is is even easiser - put the CD/DVD, boot system , pass grub stage and follow instruction on screen.
