does somebody know how to gather HMC information? It looks like there is some tool can gather HMC configuration to a html file and make them as a xx.tar.gz file?
What sort of information are you looking for? Configuration? Utilization?
tools like vmstat and topas can gather frame information if you allow the lpar to do it in the lpar profile.
If you simply need to determine which lpar you are attached to, than run following command as root on your lpar lsrsrc IBM.ManagementServer
