How to connect internet to my Solaris 10 OS

Hiii,

My soalris 10 OS is running on VM ware. I have internet to my windows7 OS, can someone please help me to get connected my internet connection to my Solaris OS which is running on VMware.

This is probably better asked in the Solaris forum, since it's more of a system configuration issue than a shell scripting one.

The fact that you have Solaris 10 virtualised shouldn't matter provided it's installed under VMware properly. To get internet connectivity on Solaris the O/S needs to know where it can connect, resolve domain names, etc.

I'll be lazy and say start by reading this, a forum discussion that I subscribed to sometime ago.
