Use Roaring Penguin pppoe client to setup your internet connection on solaris

what is the output from "# ifconfig -a" in Solaris?
Your Solaris OS isn't a VM guest OS, I assume? You are doing dual-boot Solaris with winXP?
And this is Solaris 10?

login to solaris os as a root and open the terminal type sys-unconfig it will give the step by step configuration if you have any help mail me

so, what is the output of "ifconfig -a"?
it's possible that your nic isn't supported by solaris 10.
sun offers a device detection tool from this site:

BigAdmin HCL: Sun Device Detection Tool

download it and see if it's supported.
also, you can check solaris 10's hcl
