How can I get HPUX memory?

Hello!

I need to know the HPUX RAM memory (used & free). When I use the "top" command, I get three values:

<<Memory: 284372K (135276K) real, 236604K (140740K) virtual, 600220K free>>

What does it mean the number in brackets? And... Is it RAM Memory?

Thx in advance!

You can type "man top" to get the man page.

try swapinfo, it'll give the information you need.

don't use top on ux, use glance.

Hi,

I have a machine in 11.23 and glance is not install. Is it free ? If yes, where can I download it ? I am unable to find it on the WEB.

Thanks

Unfortunately glance isnt free... but you should be able to find a trial version

Thanks for your answer. That's what I thought.
No matter because it's a machine rented for 3 months.
Has anybody a link to download a trial version ?

Perhaps you can tell me more about your system? what OS release do you have, if you have HPUX 11i Enterprise OE, it should be there (in /opt/perf/bin... type which gpm to see...)
I will look if it is still available on dowload...

There you are:
GlancePlus (Trial version)

Thanks for your help.
