Solaris 11 with ZFS?
Does it support USB, CD, and all that? Firefox-Browser?
Hi MadeInGermany.
I installed it last night (yesterday at 23:00 ).
I downloaded the DVD from Oracle's website (text install) and than using terminal I installed the desktop.
Everything seem to work for the short time that I saw.
Solaris has been supporting USB since 16 years.
CD is supported but tends to be a dying technology, the diskettes way...
Firefox 31.6 is available for the latest Solaris 11, see: https://blogs.oracle.com/alanc/entry/solaris\_11\_3\_beta_changes
Hi Jena,
Welcome to the forum and i do hope you have a good time here. Please note that this forum is intended for technical discussions only. I will let the thread open because it got at least some technical merit, but for the future I'd ask you to put only purely technical posts here.
We have a board for non-technical discussions where a post like yours would be well suited: What is on your mind. Please use this for such a kind of thread. Thank you.

ohh, I thought Trieste is in Yugoslavia? :>
Really, last time I checked it was in Cisleithania...
Trieste is the former haven for war ships of the Austrian-Hungarian empire. It is at the (western) shores of the Adriatic sea and today (since 1918 or so) part of Italy.
I am closing this thread for ongoing lack of technical matters to discuss.
