Help with EMC BCV device

I'm trying to auto-mount EMC Symmetrix BCV device at boot.
but having problem making BCV available.
I put script called mkbcv to the inittab and engineer suggested to add
120 sec sleep between cfgmgr so I did that also.

My mkbcv script seems to be working fine, it says "hdisk4 Available"
however auto-mount fails, and "lsdev -Cc disk" shows hdisk4 Defined.:wall:

"alog -o -t boot" shows funny error I've never seen.

------------------------------------------------
Completed method for: hdisk4, Elapsed time = 0
Return code = 11
no stdout *
***** stderr *****
/etc/methods/ucfgdevice: illegal option --2

Method error (/etc/methods/ucfgdevice -2 -l hdisk4 ):
0514-011 Invalid arguments.
--------------------------------------------------

why would there be ucfgdevice at boot? and what the hell is -2 options..?

this error might be nothing to do with BCV not becoming Available but
I have no other error or file to look at. please share with me if you ever had
similar problem.

thank you in advance.

I assume you have some kind of SRDF in place - so when you are trying the mkbcv command is your SRDF actually split or failed over ?
