i need help to find solution for this . i have sun fire v880 server with configuration metioned below

2750 MHz UltraSPARC 111 with 4 GB Memory ( 25616 )
36*6 GB hard disks( Internal)
with other configuration
and now i need to upgrade this server. what are the option i have for this
requirments
1: atleast 600 GB hard disk space for next 2-3 years & can be upgraded
more if i want .
2: need to be upgraded processors ( need 4 processors .)
if i go for 3310 external array with 1466 hard disk for storage what will the prices( rought ) & 3350 with 1466 GB or 3350 with 73*6 GB
for upgraded what is the best way to upgraded server for future expantion .

well,
the maximum/biggest v880 you can get is:
8 x 1200Mhz UIII
64GB Memory
146,8GB HDD x 6 = 880GB
+ expantion kit 6x147,8GB
880+880=1760GB (also internal)
i would prefer the 3510FC cause it is a really a fast storage... if you only need max capasity you could take a 3511 SATA... on both there is a way to expand the storage with a second tray (up to five extra trays on one controller) ... thats around 16TB with a 3511. i have a costumer who's using a 3511 with 2 contoller and 5 expantions... and it works great
i have another problem .if you can help me to get throught this it would be greateful .
i want to ftp files from one solaris machine to another machine
let say evey 15 minutes i want to ftp 30- 50 files from solaris machine to another soalris machine . transffred files should not be tranffred again to other server
& it should be automated . i tried write shell script . but it dons't work .
pls send me good shell script to ftp files ( around 50 -70 files every 15 munites )
