is there any way to find hardware status. I mean can i know that status of printer is on or off not the queue. I am asking printer status.Please guide me if you have any idea related to it. thanks

I assume your printer is on a network. If your printer supports SNMP, you can run commands that get the status of printer settings and values. See your printer's documentation.
You will need software to talk to the printer. Try Net-SNMP. It is open-source and well supported. There are lots of other software applications and programming APIs available.
