we are providing mirror for some Linux distributions. and we want to allow users to search in directories.Is there any package for web servers like ftplocate for ftp servers?
In lieu of a better answer, I'll suggest this: turn on directory indexing in Apache and then create a search form which queries Google with "site:yourdomain.org" appended to every query.
Google will have to index it first, of course
