Free memory on server

Hi,
How can I see free memory on our AIX server?
Version is

uname -a
AIX server1 1 6 00CC7D074C00
If svmon is the correct commande , in which unity is the output:
 svmon
                        size inuse free pin virtual mmode
memory     13107200    13032323       74877     2460502     8427089     Ded

Thanks.

@big123456, have you looked into man svmon? And e.g. this link - there're plenty resources out there you can enable yourself with.

Some years ago I wrote some Nagios scripts

The zipfile contains a virtual memory checker (check_vmem.sh) that runs on most Lunix platforms.
The commands for AIX extracted:

eval `swap -s | awk '{print "tswap="$3, "uswap="$7}'`
used=`vmstat 1 1 | awk '
$3~/^[0-9]/ && $4~/^[0-9]/ {print int(($3+uswap)*100/($3+$4+tswap))}
' uswap="$uswap" tswap="$tswap"`
echo "$used% used memory"

Don't know if it still works...

I would use vmstat, or nmon:
nmon, then tapping β€œm”
