Hi,
I have a damaged tape that will not eject on aix.
How can i force this.
I tried tctl -f /dev/rmt0 offline
But i get the following error:
the media surface is damaged
the command looks good.
reply from other topic but not tested : mt -f /dev/rmt/0 unload
If the tape is really damaged, then a call to the technical support should be done to open the drive.
