flarcreate to remote tape device

Hi,

Someone knows hot to create a flash archive to a remote tape device?
Here is my try:

$flarcreate -n nereus -S -t lisdev:/dev/rmt/1n
WARNING: hash generation disabled when using tape (-t)
current filter settings
Creating the archive...
ERROR: Unable to work archive.

But i already saw the docs you refered, they didn�t refer nothing about flash archive creation to remote tape devices. I don't know if it's possible, i can't find reference to that anywhere.

I don't know if flarcreate can output to stdout, and don't have access to a system right now to check, but if it does than you could stream it over ssh or rsh like for normal cpio.
