fix long url

Hi All,

How do I fix long url and prevent buffer overflow? I'm using redhat ent 4.

long url where? C program? A bit more verbose please.

And, fix how? If it's a valid URL it can hardly be made shorter without making it a different URL (modulo possible hex-encoded parts etc).
