File system full, swap

hi all

I am having a t5240 server in that zone is there in /var/adm/messages i am getting the following warning

WARNING: /zoneroot/zonename-zone/root/tmp: File system full, swap
space limit exceeded

if a swap is getting full what can i do.

At least one of

  • add some swap space (can be a file on UFS, a zvol on ZFS, or a partition/slice)
  • remove/move elsewhere huge files that might be in /tmp (if tmpfs based)
  • kill/restart applications that are leaking memory, if any
  • add some RAM
  • remove/relax the zone the virtual memory capping, if any

you have to add some additional swap space by 2 method--

1)either adding some file
2)adding some slice
