Anyone encontered a problem where when you run your SUN explorer, it hangs at sysconfig? I am having this problem for some of my servers.

just have a look at the output of "ps -ef" for which module is running... often a "hanging" explorer is evidence for problems with the servers configuration.
you can "kill" the hanging module and the explorer will continue to run!
