Hi,
I am using ubuntu 12.04 and everytime I installed a new program I get
Errors were encountered while processing:
lirc
localepurge: Disk space freed in /usr/share/locale: 0 KiB
localepurge: Disk space freed in /usr/share/man: 0 KiB
localepurge: Disk space freed in /usr/share/gnome/help: 0 KiB
localepurge: Disk space freed in /usr/share/omf: 0 KiB
localepurge: Disk space freed in /usr/share/doc/kde/HTML: 0 KiB
Total disk space freed by localepurge: 0 KiB
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
except from the error message I have no problem.
I mean it does install the progrm, and I can use it.
but still everytime I installed a program I get that error message, what is the reason for this?
do a sudo apt-get remove localpurge
to get rid of the message... or just leave it that way... localpurge won't do any harm but it is not needed if you don't need every bit of free disk space...
Remove unnecessary Files in Debian and Ubuntu Using localepurge
maybe localpurge i not installed from a repository... if so, apt is (of course) not able to remove it.
