Anyone know any good sources (books, urls, etc) for learning embedded programming, for example with Tornado from Wind River?

I am just looking for general info, more out of curiosity then a job requirement.
Can u guys be specific what actually u want?..there are so many authors who are the best in the market, but each one is specialist in some particular topic, like Internet related embedded prog, system-level embedded prog or application level (eg: activex...).
