E2900 controller naming

Hi all ,

I am trying to install solaris 9 on E2900 that is connect to a 3320 SCSI storage , The issue is that i want to have the SCSI disks(3320) to start with controllers 1 and 2 ( c1t0 ....c2t0) and my 2 local disks on c3 and c4 .

Is there a way that i could accomplish that ...

Thanks in advance .

Cheers

hi,

i dont know y u look for trouble?any how u want os start with 2controllers.

just u got to obp stop+A

ok auto-boot?=true
ok boot disk1,disk2 -----> this cmd is booting form both disks
reboot the system.
when u enterd in to os just u excute devfsadm cmd.

just u try it.:b:

i am not sure wheather u got , but what i am trying to do is just force solaris to identify and name my JBOD as the first controllers ( c1 .... c2), and my local disk as c310d0s2 . i still want to boot from my local disks but i need them to start on contrller 3 .
