On AIX 5.1, after applying a DST patch or workaround, is there a way to test that the DST changes have taken effect?
Set your system time to about 1:50 am on 3/11 and watch to see if it changes the time correctly. Then do the same for the original date (first sunday in april?) to make sure it does NOT change then.
That's what we do to verify a system will behave correctly.
