create Virtual NIC in Solaris 10

Hi All,
does any body know how to create Virtual NIC in Solaris 10
if any one have good article or reference
kindly provide me
i try to Google
but i didn't find good one

what do you mean with "virtual NIC"? a NIC with a new adress on a physical interface?

VNICs aren't supported by Solaris 10. You need Crossbow included in Solaris 11 Express and OpenSolaris based OSes.

If you want a physical interface, go buy one to your computer store :wink:

but scenario which i working on require to create VNIC on solaris
i am working to create alot of zone in solaris and i want to assigne each zone to VNIC

With Solaris 10, you need a physical interface or a vlan tagged oned to achieve that. If you want an exclusive IP zone with its own VNIC, upgrade to Solaris 11 Express or similar. Bug ID: 6790102 port virtual NICs (vnics) to Solaris 10 (RFE)
