I have a great doubt in Lotus Symphony Spread Sheet (Hope its similar to Excel)
Am new to this Lotus Symphony
Please tell me a formula to compare two columns in Excel (Lotus Symphony Spread Sheet)
The columns contain strings.
Eg., "Column E" and "Column AO" needs to be compared
Like Column E: Hi how are You?
And Column AO: fine, How are You?
The Column A has "register numbers" in common to "Column E" and "Column AO"..
Please help.. 
I seem to recall Symphony as being a collection of tools, similar to Microsoft Office, released by Lotus.
In the spreadsheet program you would want a command something like:
=IF(E1=AO1,1,0)
That said, this forum is a Unix forum. I would suggest you search for a forum better suited for Lotus questions.
