Hi all,
Laptop compaq presario v3000 is not booting! It just gives 3 beeps and there is no display. All the green LEDs are glowing!
I have "performed a hard reset" as per HP site

but no results. The warranty is over.
Can anybody help me?
3 beeps sound like a serious hardware error. i don't know the compaq "beep codes" but maybe you can find them on the website?!

No luck! Its become very expensive to repair now 
Well, it's a laptop; replacing nearly any peripheral means replacing the entire system board and most things attached to it.
Came know, in this model even if I replace the mother board it wont last long :(. Any suggestions?
For what? Uses for a dead laptop?
