I have two Sun Ultra 60 machines(both pre configureed with 9GB Hard Disk and 256 Mb of RAM running with Sun OS).I need to remove the HDD and RAM from one Ultra 60 and club it to the second.Can I do that?Assuming that the HDD on the second Ultra 60 will have Sun OS in it,Can I directly insert it to the slave slot of the second Ultra 60 and boot the machine?Will it cause any Issue?
Yes you can do this.
If you want two independent operating systems (1 on each HD).
You'll need to create an alias in OBP for the second disk and change the boot device to point at whichever disk you want to boot from.
if you plan to keep the old drive in master slot, while booting from new slave, I think you should boot with '-r'
