Cant login to the LPAR using IVM

Hi guys,

I am kind of new to this PowerVM thing.
I have created a virtual disk and partition.
With the IVM, when I try to open terminal wndow, a virtual terminal appeared and ask for password.

it says there:
In order to acess the terminal, you must first authenticate with IVM
Hostname : 10.23.177.81
----
User ID: padmin
Password:

In this case, after I have key in the padmin for password, the wndows will disappear. Any idea what going on ?

The password - padmin cant be wrong as when the physical machine bootup, I use the login padmin and the said password to login successfully.

Any help ? Thank you for reading

it seems, when i used other laptop to do the same, the password works.
Is there any other way to connect to the LPAR without using the IVM ?

I think close this incident. I will open a new thread about the other issue.

Thanks !!

login to the management module using ssh

then run

console -T system:blade[n]
