how to get the disks brand names? NIC brand names?

hmmm, perhaps in the section "model" of IO-Cards in "prtdiag".... not sure...

prtdiag does not return this info.

I need to get more info on the disks:

  1. the rotational speed (rpm),
  2. seek time,
  3. transfer time

any idea?
