Hi all,
I have a server SUN FUJITSU in solaris 10 ; result of uname -a is :
SunOS MOBD1 5.10 Generic_118833-03 sun4us sparc FJSV,GPUZC-M
I have configured the eeprom to auto-boot as usual and this automatic reboot does not work in case of power failure. I must type "boot" on the prompt "ok" on the console.
On solaris 9 there was a parameter "auto-boot-on-error?" but it does not exist in solaris 10.
Is there something else to do in solaris 10 ? (I join the result of the command eeprom|sort in the attached file)
Thanks for your answers.

The version of OBP that ships with Sol10 does have a "auto-boot-on-error?" parameter. (I think the file you provided does not contain all eeprom entries)
Check your version of OBP with 'prtconf -V'. Mine is 4.22.33 and has the "auto-boot" parm. Check sunsolve.sun.com for the latest version.

The OBP version is unrelated to the Solaris one.
For a fujitsu server, you will need to set the MODE switch at the operator panel to the "lock"/secure position. The eeprom settings will not take precedence over the physical switch
Thanks for your answers.
The switch was in middle position. As the lower position is maintenance mode, I put it in the upper position.
Just wait and see ... the next power failure.
dont pray for a power failure. Its best not to have one
