Hi all,
I have two virtual machines, one with Suse and another with opensolaris 2009.06.
The ldap server is in the Suse machine.
From my opensolaris, with command ldalist i can see the information about the ldap configuration, i mean, the dn: ou:....
if i type id <ldapuser> i can see the user information regarding this user.
From the opensolaris machine i can login via ssh in the suse machine with ldap credentials. From the suse machine i cannot never login with the ldap credentials.
I was searching in the internet and i found this website:

in the pam.conf i add the configuration regarding the pam module "pam_ldap.so.1"
after i reboot the machine i was never able to login in the machine even locally.
with the help from this site, "reseting Opensolaris passwords" , i was able to restore my pam.conf file and now i�m able to login again locally.
Anyone of u have some tips regarding the pam authentication in opensolaris?
