AIX custom log file add to syslog.conf file

I want to get application logs from the aix server to Qradar so I config syslog but the requirement is I need to get custom log file add to syslog.conf file get those.

@Hasitha97 , can you share WHAT actions you have actually done along with actual configuration additions/changes you have taken/made.

  • reach out within your organisational sysadmins for assistance/guidance?
  • read the documentation on syslog/syslogd , if not already done, you start there, here's a link:

  • also try man -k syslog on your system and see what comes back.
